Toddy Meets his Kindergarten Teacher

In the Muncy School District, the kindergarten teachers come to the house to meet their students and drop off some books for the children. Toddy's teacher, Miss Sleboda came to visit us. She brought along 4 books. (two mouse books, a pirate book, and a book about penguins) Toddy was a little nervous to meet her, but I'm sure he will be ok once he sees her a few more times.
Before Miss Sleboda came to the house, Toddy wanted to draw her a picture. He was very excited to give it to her. She told him that she will hang it in the room for him to find it when he comes to visit and tour the classroom next Thursday night.

Ryan Smith's Birthday Party.

We had a week’s worth of rain and we weren’t sure if Toddy and his friends would be able to play outside at the birthday party because of the weather. But it turned out to be a beautiful day. there were a few of Toddy’s friends that he has met at the YMCA and some of his teachers were there too. (Miss Kim & Mr. Jeff)
Ryan’s parents had a water slide in the back yard and he loved it. Toddy also played baseball, basketball, rode bikes, scooters, football, & hockey. We had cake, ice cream, hamburgers, hot dogs, and all kinds of food. The pinata was a great hit with the children.

Meeting Spongebob

We went to celebrate Spongebob's Birthday at Borders where Mammy works. They had crafts, a crabby patty race, sang happy brithday to Spongebob as they walked in a parade line around the store, story time, and got lots of Spongebob s

Final Baseball Game.

Sunday was our last baseball game for the season. Toddy did a great job hitting the ball. He plays t-ball for "Lycoming Valley Homes" (wearing green in the pictures) and was #7. At the end of the season, they have the coaches pitch to them to get them ready for the next level of baseball. Toddy met a few boys that will be starting kindergarten with him in the fall. (and some others that are in kindergarten this year) Aidan, played soccer with him also. After the last game, the team got trophies for their participation in the sport. They gave the coaches balls that were signed by all of the members of the team.

Soccer Season Is Over.

Friday was the last set of soccer games for the spring season. The kids did really well and I can't believe how much they have improved over the season. Toddy did really great this year, he was happy that he scored lots of goals. (so much so, I didn't keep track most of the time because there were so many.) He is really good at handling the ball and worked well with his teammates Jeb, Kaylin, and McKenzie.

Memorial Day On the Porch

Getting top soil mountain moved.

Our neighbor was nice enough to help us move our top soil mountain so that all we had to do was run a grate over it and smooth it out. The kids had fun riding the lawnmower to even out the dirt so that it was level. They all did a good job working together. Now we just need to get more grass seed so that we can get some grass growing.
