Dave's Birthday Cake

Saturday night we had everyone over for dinner after a long day of running around. We had london broils on the grill, herb potatoes, corn on the cob and all of the fixins. We all ate too much. For a surprise I made a cake for Dave's birthday (on Tuesday - so we celebrated a little bit early) and the pictue above is Dave enjoying a piece of his cake!

Adoption of Steeler

We recently joined the craze of adopting a Webkin. Toddy picked out a name and we went on line and filled out the adoption forms. He is really enjoying taking care of his virtual pet by feeding, taking it to the vet and making sure he has lots of things in his room to play with.

Mother's Day / Don's Birthday Cake

On Mother's day we had Mammy, Don, and Arlon over for dinner. We made a cake for Don's birthday (a few days late). Here is Todd and PappyPaw blowing out the candles on the cake.

Todd mowing what little lawn that we have for the first time in our new "White House". The grass (or should I say weeds) are patchy at best. We have been spending time raking out the big rocks so that we can start putting in a lawn. The process is very slow at best but someday it will look good.
